ST. PETER, MINN.—The Bethel University men's basketball team dropped a 97-62 decision on the road to Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday afternoon.
The Royals fall to 4-7, 1-2 MIAC, while the first-place Gusties improve to 11-1, 4-0 MIAC.

Bethel got scoring from 11 individuals, led by Jack Charbonneau's 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Rounding out the Royals' double figure scorers was Nick Burke, who had 12 points on a 5-of-8 clip.
The Royals finished 23-of-54 (.426) shooting and 13-of-16 (.813) from the free throw line.
The perimeter game resulted in an 11-of-29 (.379) figure for Gustavus, who accumulated a 40-of-73 (.548) field goal percentage. They held Bethel to a 3-of-22 (.136) mark from the three-point line.
Myles Barnette paced Gustavus with 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting and four assists, while Jack Schmitt's 16 points consisted of a 4-of-8 mark from the three-point line, and a 6-of-12 field goal percentage.Â
