MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Bethel University men's soccer team continued their impressive start to the 2025 season with a 2-0 shutout victory over Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday afternoon at the Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.
The Royals (7-0-2, 3-0-0 MIAC) controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Cobbers 23-5 and allowing just two shots on goal. After a scoreless first half, Bethel finally broke through in the 74th minute when Crioni Menendez netted his first goal of the season, assisted by Roy Kyle.
Bethel doubled the lead late in the match, as MIAC scoring leader Jordan Ross slotted home his eighth goal of the year in the 89th minute, thanks to a build-up involving Carter Sheard and Minty Shady.
The Royals' defense held firm throughout the contest, earning another clean sheet and preserving their unbeaten record through nine games.
