LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the 20th consecutive season the Bethel University volleyball team earned AVCA Team Academic Honors, sponsored by INTENT, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Monday afternoon. The streak ranks third longest in NCAA Division III and is tied for the ninth longest among all NCAA Divisions. 

Initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, the award honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year. 

The Royals concluded the 2024 season 20-9 overall and 9-2 in MIAC play. BU earned the third seed in the MIAC Playoffs making its 17th overall appearance and 10th consecutive appearance.
