Oran Hinkle gave the Royals a 5-4 lead and ignited a six run rally. The Royals tacked on one more run in the ninth to take down Northwestern 11-6
Bethel struck first plating two runs in the top of the first inning,
Isaac Call doubled to right putting runners on second and third with one out.
Xavier Lortie grounded out to first to bring home the game's first run and Call later scored on a wild pitch.
The Royals added on runs in the third and fifth to open up a 4-1 lead. The Eagles rallied for three in the bottom of the fifth, tying the game on a three-run home run to left.
Oran Hinkle leadoff the top of the seventh and promptly smacked a solo homer to right field, his third of the year, to make it a 5-4 game.
The roundtripper sparked a six run rally, the Royals put together six hits including four straight RBI singles.
Sam Johnson capped the inning with a RBI single up the middle to make it a 10-4 ballgame.
The Royals tacked on one more in the ninth, when Hinkle reached on an error driving in
Nolan Jurgenson to make it 11-4, with the Royals going on to win 11-6.
