Arden Hills, Minn. — April 30, 2025
The Bethel University women's tennis team delivered a statement performance in the MIAC Quarterfinals, sweeping St. Scholastica 4-0 at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex. With the win, the Royals (14-5) move on to face Carleton in the MIAC Semifinals this Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Northfield.

Bethel quickly set the tone in doubles, with Julia Baber and Emma Thole earning a 6-1 victory at No. 2, followed by Payton Douglas and Courtney DeWall matching that score at No. 3. Lauryn Douglas and Michaella Sullivan were leading 4-3 at No. 1 doubles before the match was halted due to the clinch format.

The Royals continued their dominant form in singles. Claire Keller rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 3, Julia Baber stayed sharp with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4, and Courtney DeWall closed out the match at No. 6 singles with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 win.
