Men’s Tennis Drops Close One with UW-La Crosse, 4-3

ROGERS, Minn. – Coming down to the final match being played, the Bethel University men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Wisconsin-La Crosse Sunday afternoon indoors at Rogers Tennis Club.

The teams were knotted at three a piece, with the No. 4 singles match in progress. The Eagles took the deciding match as Watson Sheard fell 4-6, 3-6.

Bethel took two of the three doubles matches to earn the single-team point. Zach Bengtson and Robert Seaton at No. 3 earned BU's first victory after trailing 3-4 and then winning the final three games. Watson Sheard and Carter Sheard at No. 1 won their third straight as a duo, 6-4.
