DAVENPORT, Fla. – The Bethel University baseball team saw its six-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of Ohio Northern as the Royals fell to Polar Bears, 5-3, in their spring break finale.

ONU scored three in the top of the first before Bethel responded with a pair in the bottom half of the frame.
Isaac Call had an RBI triple before scoring on a sacrifice fly form

Oho Northern got those two runs back in the third before being kept scoreless the rest of the way.

Bethel stranded a pair of runners in the third, fifth and seventh before being able to scratch a run across in the eighth.
Andrew Cardenas got a pinch-hit RBI single to center cutting the deficit to a pair of runs.

Max Sutter suffered the loss giving up five runs, four of which were earned, in five innings of work.
Aidan Nelson and
Nick Carlson out of the pen kept the Polar Bears off the board with Nelson only giving up two hits.

UP NEXT
Due to the Royals return flight from Florida being postponed on Sunday, the doubleheader with Northwestern that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 has been postponed.

That sets up the Royals to be back in action on Sunday, March 23 at US Bank Stadium for a doubleheader with Wisconsin-River Falls.
