The Bethel University baseball team moved its winning streak to three games with an 8-2 win over Loras Tuesday morning. Bethel men's tennis kept its winning ways with victories over University of Saint Joseph 6-1 and Loras 7-0 moving to 4-0 on the spring break trip.

The Royals never trailed in the early morning showdown with the Duhawks.
Zach Thompson scored the game's first run as a throwing error over to first from third allowing him to score from second.

BU put up a three spot in the third and two in the fifth.. Joey Meurer's two-RBI double to the gap in right broke it open in the fifth making it 6-0.

Loras got two back in the seventh with a single and and then an error in center on a dropped fly ball.

A balk with the bases loaded in the seventh pushed BU's lead back to 7-2 before another throwing error, this time on a potential double play ball, scored Meurer in the top of the ninth.

Mark Anderson got the win as he went 6.2 innings where he struck out seven, walked none and gave up two runs with only one of those being earned.

BU got wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles spot with
Zack Chaffey and
Dylan Magistad going the distance at 7-5.

Watson Sheard highlighted the singles matches winning in a third-set tiebreaker at No. 4 after dropping his opening set, 6-7 (3), 6-2, 1-0 (10-8).

Robert Seaton extended their winning streak to six matches while playing for the first time at No. 2 doubles spot,

Dylan Magistad moved his singles winning streak to seven matches taking the No. 2 match in a third set tiebreaker after dropping his opening set. 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4).

Jacob Merriam won his first collegiate match taking No. 6 singles 7-6 (5), 6-4.
