ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The No. 20 Bethel University women's basketball team cruised to an 84-44 drubbing of Augsburg in their 2025-26 home opener at Robertson Center Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
The Royals push their win streak to four games and move to 4-1, 3-0 MIAC, while the Auggies fall to 4-4, 1-2 MIAC.

BU's 40-point victory was highlighted by their season-high .550 (33-of-60) field goal percentage, seven 3-point baskets, 21 assists, and 18 steals. The Auggies were held to an opponent season low 26 rebounds, five assists, and 16 field goals.
Both teams combined for a whopping 59 turnovers, which led to Bethel having 18 of the game's 31 steals.
Emily Erickson paced the Royals with 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting along with two assists and two steals. Macey Littlefield followed with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, and two assists. All over the stat sheet was Alli Born, who finished with a team-leading five steals to go with 12 points, three assists, and six rebounds. Rounding out the double figure scorers was Rosalie Penke, who had 10 points, four assists, and four rebounds. Jada Otoo paced Bethel at the glass with seven rebounds.
BU got points from 11 individuals.
Augsburg, who was held to .333 (16-of-48) shooting, was led by Saylor Gallagher's 10 points.
The Royals will host UW-River Falls at Robertson Center on Saturday, December 13 at 1 p.m.
