ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Senior forward Tyler Braccini's hat trick, and senior goaltender's Austin Ryman's 36-save performance propelled the Bethel University men's hockey team to a 4-0 shutout of No. 15 UW-Stevens Point at the National Sports Center on Friday night.
The Royals improve to 2-0-0, while the Pointers fall to 1-2-0.

The Pointers held a 36-26 advantage in shots, but Ryman stopped all 36 of them en route to his fourth career shutout.
His offensive support started with Peyton Blair's first collegiate goal at 16:53 of the first period off a feed from Jameson O'Flynn. That proved to be the game-winning tally, and gave the Royals a 1-0 lead.
Braccini proceded to net goals at 8:38 and 17:31 of the second period, as well as an empty-netter at 19:38 to seal a 4-0 victory.
Jack Brown, Jake Svenddal, O'Flynn, Joe Westlund, and Matt Berezowski each picked up an assist for the Royals.
Bethel will host UW-Eau Claire at National Sports Center tomorrow, Saturday, November 9 at 5 p.m.
