For the second consecutive week, sophomore safety Matt Jung was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after capturing another pair of interceptions in Bethel's 51-30 home-opening win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire last Saturday. It's Jung's fifth time on the Team of the Week after getting it three straight weeks last season. He's the first Royal to be a five-time honoree since the weekly award's inception in 1999. 

His second interception of the game came in the end zone, preventing a potential game-tying score, as UWEC had it first and goal from the 2-yard line late in the fourth. He added 10 tackles on the day with five being solo. 

Jung and the Royals host No. 4th-ranked Saint John's in the MIAC opener Saturday, Sept. 28 at Royal Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
