NORMAN, Okla. – Graduate student
Conor Schubring was named to the Second Team All-American squad, announced by the GCAA Friday morning.
Schubring is the program's third All-American selection joining Alex Case (2016) and Noah Bragg (2018), who were named to the Honorable Mention team in their respective years.
In 26 rounds he carded a program single-season record 72.0. In 11 events he tallied three medalist finishes and six top-five finishes. At the Bethel Triangular, he fired a program-record 64. That was one of 14 rounds this season where he shot at or under par. Schubring ranked 15th nationally and first regionally among individual golfers.
Schubring recently became a two-time All-Region honoree while also being named MIAC Player of the Year.
