Maple Grove, Minn. – Bethel University women's golf concluded its 2023-24 season this past weekend with a pair of second-place finishes in one-round meets co-hosted by Carleton and St. Catherine. The Royals shot a 318 (+30) on Saturday at Legacy Golf Course in Faribault tying with St. Kate's and falling two strokes shy of Carleton. On Sunday at Rush Creek Golf Club they fired a 309 (+21), defeating St. Kate's by one stroke and seven strokes behind the champions Carleton.
BU finishes the year with a 319.0 scoring average, which is the third lowest in program history. They had six individuals record top-five finishes and 18 with top-10 finishes.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Greta McArthur led the pack tying for first in both 18-hole events. On Friday she fired a three-over-par 75 behind a pair of birdies. She followed it up Sunday scoring a season-low even par 72. That was large in part to three birdies on the back nine where she shot two-under.

Laura Beltman opened the weekend with a 78 placing fourth before firing a 79 on Sunday.

Sophie Brantner had a pair of top-10 finishes firing a 79 on both Saturday and Sunday.
