BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Junior netminder Anna Hanson was named MIAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year following a standout season inside the crease. Hanson was also named to the All-MIAC squad along with senior defensemen Lindsey Muntifering.

• Earns BU's first-ever Defensive Player of the Year award.
• Second Royal to be voted a MIAC Player of the Year (offensive/defensive/MVP) joining Cristina Masten who recieved Player of the Year honors in 2014. 
• Earns first All-MIAC accolade.
• Started 23 games in net while posting a 12-10-1 record.
• Had a 1.81 goals allowed average while capturing a MIAC-leading 680 saves. Her .942 save percentage was second while in the league while her 27.2 saves per game was first.
• She tallied four shutouts on the year.
• In games against MIAC opponents she had a conference-leading 474 saves, a 29.6 saves per game mark and a .937 save percentage. She went 7-8-1 with two shutouts and a 2.01 goals against average.
• Named to MIAC All-Playoff Team after collecting 30 saves in the shutout win at Hamline and 40 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to top-seeded Gustavus Adolphus.

• Earns first All-MIAC accolade
• Was third in the MIAC with 16 assists this season while adding seven goals for 23 points, which was top 10 in the conference. She tallied three game-winning goals and was a plus-15 for the year.
• Of her seven goals, three game on the power play and one came in overtime. She also added 40 blocked shots.
• Against MIAC opponents she tallied 12 points with three goals and nine assists. Two of her three goals were on the power play while adding the game winner in the MIAC opener against St. Olaf and series opener against St. Scholastica. She added 24 blocked shots.
