ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University football team will open up the 2024 season under the lights traveling just up Snelling Ave. to Northwestern where the Royals and Eagles will clash for the first time since 1991. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.
 
BU's home opener comes on Saturday, Sept. 21 hosting Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 1 p.m. Bethel gets back-to-back home games as MIAC play begins for the Royals on Saturday, Sept. 28 hosting Saint John's.
 
Bethel's bye week will come in the first week of the season once again.
 
The Royals schedule includes five home games at Royal Stadium where last season the Royals ranked fourth in Division III averaging 4,243 fans in five home games. It's the fourth time in the last five seasons BU had a top-10 average attendance mark in Division III. Among DIII, DII and FCS schools in the upper Midwest, BU ranked No. 10.
