WINONA, Minn. – After a long spring break in Orlando the Bethel University men's tennis team was back in action Saturday afternoon traveling to Saint Mary's. BU quickly picked up a 3-0 lead after doubles play before taking the top four singles matches defating the Cardinals, 7-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sophomore
Dylan Magistad swept his second singles opponent in under an hour 6-0, 6-0.
• Sophomore
Robert Seaton lost a tight first set at fifth singles, but was able to come back and take the second set, forcing a tiebreak. The breaker went above the normal 10-point mark, but Seaton just fell short 13-15.
• Sixth singles player
Brett Eliason quickly obtained the first set 6-3, but was unable to hold on, falling in a second set tiebreak. He then went into a third set breaker where he found himself down 3-1 and was not able to make up the 2-point margin, losing the match 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 7-10.
