ROGERS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team battled hard to take a 9-0 victory over the Wartburg Saturday afternoon in Rogers.
After taking all three doubles matches, all six players had their work cut out for them in the singles draw. Nearly all of them split breaks, but pulled ahead winning in straight sets. BU moved to 2-0 on the year while capturing their sixth straight win over the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman
Watson Sheard pulled out a victory at No. 5 singles with his second set tiebreak win 6-3, 7-6 (4).
• At No. 1 singles Gavin Hunter had a clean win of 6-2, 6-4.
• Freshman
Zack Chaffey and sophomore
Dylan Magistad completed their wins by no dropping a game in the second set. Chaffey at No. 4 won 6-2, 6-0 while Magistad at No. 2 took it 6-3, 6-0.

Bethel will be back at Rogers next Saturday to join the women in a combined match against the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
