ROGERS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team brought its three-match losing streak to an end, defeating Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Concordia over the weekend by identical 8-1 scores.

HOW IT HAPPENED vs UWSP

Carter Sheard didn't drop a single game at No. 2 singles, winning 6-0, 6-0
• Junior
Brett Eliason played three close sets, dropping the first 5-7, but taking the next two 6-4, 10-7
• The No. 2 doubles team of
Zack Chaffey and Watson sheard found themselves down three break points at 4-7, but they fought back to bring the match to a tiebreak, ultimately winning 8-7 (7-5)
• The No. 1 doubles team
Gavin Hutter and
Dylan Magistad exchanged breaks all match, bringing the score to 7-7, but took complete control in the tiebreak winning it 7-2
