ROGERS, Minn. – After finding themselves down 2-1 after doubles, Bethel men's tennis knew they had their work cut out for them. They fought hard and went on win five of the six singles matches capturing a 6-3 victory over Wisconsin-La Crosse.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The No. 1 doubles team
Gavin Hutter and
Dylan Magistad got the Royals on the board with an easy 8-2 victory
• Freshman
Watson Sheard clinched the win for the men at No. 5 singles, defeating his opponent in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6, to make the match score 5-3
• No. 6 singles player
Robert Seaton quickly took the first set 6-1, but was unable to close it out in straight sets. He then regained his composure and ran away with the third set tiebreak, leading 8-1 before being able to end the match 10-4
• Freshman
Gavin Hutter battled hard for a victory at No. 1 singles, with both sets being settled by a tiebreak that he won 7-5

The Royals are on spring break! They travel to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, immediately taking on Piedmont University on Sunday Mar. 10th. The men will have five matches over the course of five days.
