PLAYOFF HISTORY
• Bethel is making its first playoff appearance – in the five-team format – since 2018. The Royals were in the all-commers 2022 MIAC Playoffs as the seven seed.
• The Royals hold an 8-11 all-time playoff record.
• It's the fifth time BU is the five seed in the playoffs where they are 3-4. Playing as the "underdogs" in 2018, 2015 and 2012 the Royals reached the semis with quarterfinal wins as the No. 5 seed.
• Against the Pipers in the playoffs BU is 0-2 with the last meeting coming in 2022 where the second-seeded Pipers topped seventh-seeded BU 8-0 in the quarters. The other meeting came in a five verses four quarterfinal matchup in 2008 that HU took 5-2.
