In its first-ever home postseason game, the Bethel men's soccer team fell to the Carleton College Knights, 5-2. Finishing the year 11-8 overall, the Royals posted a .579 winning percentage which is the best since the 2011 season and the 11 wins is the most since 2004.

How It Happened:
- The first half saw the Knights pummel the Royals with goals, scoring at 1:17 — right off the bat — 23:09, 32:44, and 39:40.
- The four goals went unanswered until a shot from Carter Sheard deflected off a Knight and into the back of th net at 41:36, giving the Royals a glimmer of hope before the half ended.
- Will Swanda helped decrease the deficit to 4-2, Knights, just six minutes into the second half, firing off a bullet from outside the box. But the Knights' lead proved too much for the Royals to overcome. Another goal from the Knights just minutes after Swanda's crushed any hopes of a comeback, and the Royals fell, 5-2.
