ROCHESTER, Minn. – Bethel men's tennis started its 2023-24 season strong with a 7-2 win over Central College Saturday evening in Rochester.
After doubles play, the Royals found themselves down 2-1, but they regrouped, and came back fighting, winning all six singles matches.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• No. 3 doubles duo
Watson Sheard and
Zack Chaffey clinched the only doubles win for the Royals taking it 8-6.
• No. 6 singles sophomore
Robert Seaton got the Royals their first singles win of the night winning 6-3, 6-0.
• Sophomore
Dylan Magistad completed the singles sweep with a third-set-tiebreak win at No. 2 by scores of 4-6, 6-3,10-8
