ST. PAUL, Min. - The Bethel men's soccer team came to a 1-1 draw with the Macalester College Scots Tuesday night. The team moves to 3-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 within the MIAC conference.
How It Happened:

The Scots scored first, securing a goal in the 16th minute off of a penalty kick. Royal goalkeeper Juan Valdivia Cortes received a yellow card warning at this time.

Macalester doubled Bethel's shots in the first half, 10-5, and ultimately out shot them throughout the game, 17-9.

Youssef Abdallah scored the equalizing goal just before the half, finding the back of the net in the 44th minute.
What's Next:
The Royals return home to Ona Orth Athletic Complex this weekend when they host the Hamline Pipers in a Homecoming weekend matchup. The game is set to start at 1 p.m. with the women's game to follow.
