HASTINGS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's golf picked up its second tournament win of the season finishing in a tie for first with Carleton at the Gustie Invite. The Royals shot a 317 in the shortened event that saw round two canceled due to weather.
Greta McArthur had her fifth medalist finish of the year placing third with a 76.
Anna Tollefson placed 10th with a 79.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Royals had nine birdies on the day and led the scoring on par threes and par fives.
• McArthur shot a three-over on the front nine highlighted by a birdie on the par five 7th hole that totaled 481 yards. One birdie on the back nine and six pars helped her go one-over on the back stretch as she finished four-over par with the 76.
• Tollefson used a birdie on five to put her even through the first five holes. Two bogeys and. A double on nine had her four over at the turn. A three over on the back nine finished her seven-over-par for the day.

Justine Malenke tied for 18th with a nine-over 81. After going six-over on the front nine, she finished the day with an eagle on the par-five 18th green that was 454 yards that led her to three-over on the back nine.

Laura Beltman also tied for 18th with a nine over par. She rebounded from a tough nine-over on the front nine by going even on the back nine that included two birdies.
