BLAINE, Minn. – For the third time this season, the Bethel University women's hockey team has left home ice with another tally in the win column defeating St. Scholastica inside Bethel University Arena, 4-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Saints started out the scoring with a goal 2:54 into the contest.
•
Lindsey Albers answered with her fifth goal of the season sending the teams into the first break knotted at one.
• BU started the second on the power play and
Lexi DeBace capitalized on it 16 seconds in putting the Royals ahead.
• CSS evened it up at two goals apiece with just over four to go in the second.
• BU finished the second on the penalty kill as netminder
Anna Hanson stopped five shots before the break. BU killed off the remaining time to start the third.

Megan Johnson gave the lead back to Bethel for good scoring 12:44 into the third period. Johnson put in the rebound shot after Albers had a breakaway chance that was stopped by the CSS goalie.

Kallie Abrahamson scored her seventh goal of the season while the Saints had an empty net.
What's Next
The Royals will play CSS again on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Duluth, Minn. The puck will drop at 3 p.m.
