DULUTH, Minn. – Surrendering three goals in the second period, the Bethel University women's hockey team were kept at bay by St. Scholastica Saturday afternoon in Duluth falling 4-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• It looked like the teams would go into the first break scoreless until the Saints got one past
Anna Hanson with just over 90 seconds left.
• CSS added two more, one being on the power play, in the first five minutes of the second.
•
Lindsey Albers got one back for the Royals scoring in her second straight game.
• Less than two minutes later
Brynn Swenson got the Royals within one.
• St. Scholastica put the BU deficit back to a pair scoring a power play goal 18 seconds into the man advantage.
• The third period was scoreless despite the Royals holding a 20-8 edge in shots. BU led the shots on goal battle 39-26.
