ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Bethel University men's soccer team took home a victory in its final match of the season against Northwestern College (Iowa) on the road, 2-0. The Royals finish with a record of 5-8-4.
How It Happened:
• The first half was evenly-matched, with each team tallying five shots and neither managing a goal. The Royals earned eight corner kicks but failed to capitalize on any of the opportunities.
• The second half was a nail-biter as each team looked to find the first goal. Finally, in the 85th minute of play, the Royals'
Will Swanda converted a penalty kick opportunity into a goal, the first of his career, setting BU up, 1-0.

Youssef Abdallah in the second and final goal of the game, putting Bethel over Northwestern, 2-0.
