BLAINE, MINN - Looking to rebound from last night's tough overtime loss, the Bethel University women's hockey team took another one on the chin falling to Marian University, 4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Marian jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after one period holding the shots on goal advantage 11-9.
•
Lindsey Albers tallied her second goal of the year 6:30 into the second period.
• The Royals outshot the Sabres 10-4 in the third but were held off the scoreboard while Mrian added an empty net goal with five seconds left.
• Bethel led the shot battle 30-23 and were a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.

Bethel looks to get back in the win column next week returning to MIAC play with a series against Augsburg. The opener on Friday, Jan. 13 is set to be played inside Augsburg Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
