BLAINE, Minn. – Surrendering a goal with just over a minute left in overtime, the Bethel University women's hockey team fell to Concordia-Wisconsin, 4-3, in its return to the ice after a month-long break.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bethel struck first as
Lindsey Muntifering scored her second goal of the season at the 4:27 mark.
• Concordia evened it up a minute later before tallying two more, one being on the period's lone power play.
• The scoring frenzy continued as the Royals tied it with a pair of goals through the final five minutes.
Julia Helget tallied her first goal of the season before
Megan Johnson scored the equalizer.
• Both netminders shined in the second and third period with a combined 32 saves through the 40-minute stretch.
• The Falcons outshot BU 7-1 in the 3-on-3 overtime eventually getting one past
Anna Hanson.

The Royals will play again tomorrow, Jan. 7, taking on Marian. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:10 p.m.
