NORTHFIELD, Minn. – It was a rain filled weekend as the Bethel University women's golf placed second at the Carleton/St. Olaf Spring Invite. The tournament was cut short after only 18 holes played, which the Royals completed over the past 24 hours. Bethel carded a 337 (+49).
Anna Tollefson notched her sixth top five finish of the year placing in a tie for third with a six-over 78. Tollefson was four-over on the front nine before finishing the round strong with a birdie on 18 for a two-over on the back nine.
Ana Schwarz tied for 14th with a 12-over 84 under harsh conditions. After going nine-over on the front nine she moved her way back up the leader board going three-over on the back stretch. She also birdied the par-five 18th hole to conclude the day.
Brynn Sundquist finished tied for 23rd carding an 87.
Elena Zaborniak tied for 28th with an 88 while
Justine Malenke finished tied for 43rd with a 93.
Bethel's "B" squad finished 10th with a 362 and were led by top finisher
Laura Beltman who carded a 86 tying for 18th.
