ROGERS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team captured its second straight win with a 7-2 non-conference victory over Wisconsin-La Crosse Saturday afternoon.
Luke Wyly and
Jacob Lukkarila (No. 2 doubles) as well as
Steven Benoy and
Andrew Holmes (No. 3 double) each won their second straight matches giving BU a 2-1 lead after doubles play.
BU took 5 of the six singles matches only dropping the No. 2 singles match.
Steven Benoy did not drop a game at No. 5 singles, he has now only dropped one game in his last four sets.
Erik Beckers improves to 4-2 on the year having only dropped one game for the second straight week winning 6-1, 6-0.
Now 4-2 on the year, Bethel travels to Orlando, Fla. for a five-match spring trip at the USTA National Tennis Center. They kick off the week on Sunday, March 13 against North Central College.
