Spring break trips are in full swing for the Bethel University Royals' spring athletic teams. Five different teams were in action on Sunday, check out the full day's recap by sport below!

Kayla Simacek picked up both wins in the circle striking out a combined 23 batters in 10 innings of work surrendering one run, which was unearned, one hit and walking two.
Allie Fauth was a machine at the dish going a combined 6-for-7 with five runs, a triple, three RBIs and five stolen bases.
Izzy Wilhelm was 3-for-6 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs.
A slug fest in the Sunday opener, the Royals plated at least two runs in every inning against FDU-Florham. Fauth was a perfect 4-for-4 in the game where Wilhelm was 3-for-3.
Cortney Hokanson launched the Royals first long ball of the year in the top of the third.
In the night cap it was the Simacek show striking out 14 of the 24 batters faced. She gave up a lone hit, a bunt single in the fourth, that eventually came around to score as an unearned run on the play due to a throwing error.
Fauth scored both of BU's first run coming in on a passed ball. She then notched an one-out triple in the fifth before scoring on a wild pitch the next at bat.

In the last of a broken up three-game series with Wisconsin-Stout, the Royals dropped the series finale 7-5. A three-run sixth for the Bluedevils all but sealed it as the Royals plated one in the seven and eighth in hopes of a comeback effort.
Tommy Friesen carried the way in the two-spot going 3-for-5 with a run. Just below him in the three hole,
Justin Winterfeldt tallied his third multi-hit game of the year going 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two runs and a RBI.
Zachary Haala picked up the loss out of the pen after start Ty Kohen gave up three runs in four innings of work with seven strikeouts.
Women's Golf at Westbrook Invite at the Lakes Hosted by George Fox University (Results)

The Bethel University women's golf team placed sixth among a loaded field at the Westbrook Invite. The Royals shot a 307 in the opening round on Saturday, their third lowest of the season, before shooting a 313 on the final day finishing with a 620. That's BU's second lowest 36-hole score of the year.
Brynn Sundquist had a new career-low 72 in the opening round.
Elena Zaborniak put up a new 36-hole career-best 155 beating her previous mark by three strokes.
Bethel's "B" squad finished eighth with a 685 (347-338).
Rachael Muir put up a new 36-hole career best by one stroke with a 160.
The Bethel University men's tennis team had a tough task going up against No. 37-ranked North Central. Falling to the Cardinals 7-2,
Jacob Lukkarila at No. 3 singles won his third straight by a score of 6-3, 6-3. No. 4 singles player
Luke Wyly also extended his winning streak to three with a 7-6, 6-4 decision.
The women fell by an identical score of 7-2 to a 15-1 Cardinals squad.
Grace Riermann stays perfect on the year in No. 1 singles play at 8-0 defeating North Central's No. 1 of Kaeli Smashey who was 10-1 on the year. Riermann battled to a 6-2, 6-2 decision.
