WINONA, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team put itself back in the win column with an 8-1 MIAC victory over Saint Mary's University, 8-1.
Bethel went up 2-1 after doubles play after
Jacob Lukkarila and
Luke Wyly improved to 8-3 on the year winning 8-5.
Steven Benoy and
Andrew Holmes took care of business 8-1 winning their fourth straight as a duo.
Bethel took all six singles points. Benoy at No. 5 won his fifth straight not dropping a game.
Luke Wyly dropped one game winning 6-1, 6-0.
The Royals, now 7-5 on the year and 2-1 in MIAC play, host their first home outdoor match of the season on Saturday, April 2 at 4 p.m. against Hamline.
