SERIES HISTORY
• Bethel trails the all-time series 12-19 and is looking to snap a five-game losing skid to the Saints. The Royals are 4-6 in the last 10 matchups dating back to 2001.
• CSS swept the season series, which was the first time the teams have played since 2017-18, taking the series opener in Blaine 2-0 and then the finale in Duluth 2-1.

PLAYOFF HISTORY
Bethel is 5-5-2 all-time in the MIAC Playoffs dating back to their first appearance in 2001.
• Making their first appearance since 2008 and sixth overall, the Royals snap the MIACs' longest playoff appearance drought.
• The Royals hold one MIAC Championship title to their name winning it all in 2007. Bethel defended its top seed defeating St. Olaf in the semifinals before beating St. Thomas in the championship game.

IN THE CREASE
Travis Allen has made five starts in his last six appearances with a 2.37 goals against average and a 93.8 save percentage. Most recently he recorded a career-high 55 saves in BU's 3-2 series opening victory over Saint Mary's.
• Allen ranks second in the MIAC and 11th nationally with a season save percentage of 93.3 percent.
Ridge Gerads ranks 30th nationally and is sixth in the MIAC with a 2.34 goals against average. He is also 19th nationally and fifth in the MIAC with a 92.5 save percentage. Gerads is second in the MIAC with two shutouts under his belt.

ROYALS ON THE PENALTY KILL
• Not too much panic sets in while the Royals are on the penalty kill. BU ranks third nationally with a 91 penalty killing percentage while having ranked in the top five all season long.
• Bethel had only given up two power play goals through the first 10 games of the year. Twice this year the Royals went on a stretch of five games without giving up a power play goal and have only given up multiple man advantage goals in one game this season.
