NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Thanks to a two-goal first period, the Bethel University men's hockey team opened its MIAC season with three points in the standings following a 4-2 victory at St. Olaf.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman
Tyler Braccini lit up the lamp at the 6:52 mark in the first for his first collegiate goal.
Jack Brown and
Dane Stoyanoff assisted on the play.

Jarrett Cammarata scored in his third straight game and fifth of the year with under three minutes to go.

Justin Kelley tallied BU's lone power play goal of the night at 8:30 in the second. Stoyanoff tallied his second assist of the night and fifth of the year while
Sam Wilhite tallied the secondary assist.
• St. Olaf denied BU of the shutout scoring with an extra attacker and over 2:30 to go.

Luke Posner got his first goal of the year pushing the advantage back to three goals with an empty netter.
• The Oles tallied one more with just over a minute to play.
• BU outshot the Oles 29-24 and were a perfect 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.
