NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Bethel University women's hockey team dropped its MIAC opener on the road at St. Olaf Friday evening, 4-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bethel got out to a tough start allowing three goals in the first period to the Oles.
• A few more opportunities arose for the Royals in the second period despite being outshot 12-7 in the 20-minute stretch.
• The Oles added a power play goal at the 12:13 mark making it 4-0.
• BU had its only power play opportunity of the night in the third, but were not able to get off a shot. They held off two St. Olaf power play chances in the final 20 minutes.

The Royals are back on home ice rapping up the series with St. Olaf on Saturday Nov. 12 at 2 p.m.
