BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Senior defensive specialist
Kelsie Sealock was named the MIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season and third in her career.
Sealock paced the Royals to wins over No. 20 Augsburg and Saint Mary's last week by averaging 5.86 digs per set with 31 total digs and a .968 reception percentage. She also added a service ace and seven assists. In the four-set victory over the Auggies on 10/21, she tallied 20 digs and four assists before adding 21 digs in the three-set victory over Saint Mary's on 10/22.
The Royals volleyball squad enters the final week of the regular season with a non-conference match at Wisconsin-Stout on 10/25. They wrap up the week with conference matches at Macalester on 10/28 and Hamline on 10/29. Bethel needs one win to secure a spot in their 14th overall MIAC Playoff.
