ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's soccer team was unable to rebound after an early goal by Gustavus Adolphus, 1-0. Falling to 3-8-3 on the year and 1-6-2 in MIAC play Bethel suffered its fourth one-goal loss in the last five matches.
How It Happened
• The Gusties took charge of the game in the first five minutes with a goal by Cambelle Waldspurger.
• Gustavus continued attacking the net but no goals were allowed by Bethel's
Izzy Smith who finished with seven saves.
• Bethel fired its only shot of the first half in the 39th minute as they trailed at the break. The Royals came into the second half with more fire, taking three shots, but none were able to • make a connection.
