COON RAPIDS, Minn. – After a slow start and battling rainy conditions the Bethel University women's golf team sits in third place after 18 holes at the MIAC Championships. BU carded a collective 317 (+25) and are 13 strokes behind St. Catherine in second place while Carleton leads the pack with a 302 (+10).

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a tough start on the front nine where she was four-over, defending individual MIAC Champion
Anna Tollefson recovered on the back nine where she was one-over after carding a pair of birdies.

Greta McArthur carded an identical 78 to be tied for ninth. Like Tollefson, she had a double bogey on the par-five fourth green. She gained a stroke back two holes later birding the par-five sixth hole.

Justine Malenke was two-over on the front nine with one birdie. A triple bogey on 16 set her back a bit going five-over on the back stretch.
