ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's basketball team extended its winning streak to six games Monday evening with a 96-46 victory over St. Scholastica inside the Robertson Center Gym.

For the third game in a row, BU shot over 50 percent from the floor going 34-of-66 while capturing 21 steals. The Royals worked down low with 54 points coming inside the paint.

Courtney Nuest's career-high 22 points led all scorers while
Kendal Cox was next up for the Royals with 12 points and six boards off the bench.
Makenna Pearson knocked down three treys in route to 11 points while
Hayden Glander added the same value.

The Royals got off to another hot start defensively holding the Saints to one field goal in the opening quarter while collecting nine steals in the process. BU expanded on its 27-5 advantage as the 19-0 run carried into the second.

Leading by 40-plus at the break, BU opened the third on a 12-0 run holding the Saints off the board for three minutes. Bethel's largest lead of the night came on a 3-pointer from
Lauren Johnson in the corner making it 92-39 with 2:49 to go.

The Royals, now 7-5 on the year and 6-3 in MIAC play, are back on the hardwood Wednesday traveling to Carleton for a 7 p.m. tip.
