Bethel 3, Wis.-Lutheran 0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-11)
The Royals never trailed in the opening set while back-to-back kills from Cotter opened up the lead to 12-7. WLC rallied getting within 16-15 before a dump set by Wilhite opened the lead to three. Neither team scored more than two in a row before BU came away with it.
Â
Wisconsin Lutheran opened the second scoring the first three points. BU tied it right back up with three of their own. Tied at 9-9, BU went on to score six of the next seven points which included a pair of kills from Cotter and three attacking errors from the Warriors. The Royals kept feeding Cotter who put down the set winning kill.
Â
In the third, BU opened with a 10-3 advantage capped by a block from Rossing and Fauth. The fuel was running out of the WLC tank while BU kept connecting at the net. Bethel captured the match earning six of the final seven points.

Â
Bethel 3, Pacific 0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-20)

Â
The second set was much better for BU hitting .400 with only two attacking errors on 25 attempts. A solo block from Rossing gave Bethel a 4-1 lead which eventually jumped to 15-8.
Â
Riding the serve of Rossing, BU's four straight put them at set point before a service error. A service error right back by the Boxers put BU up 2-0 in the match.
Â
Following a handful of ties in the opening part of the third, Pacific went up 11-9. Kills by Forshee and Fauth followed with three straight blocks turning the tide.
