FARGO, N.D. – The Bethel University women's tennis team improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in MIAC play defeating Concordia 9-0 Sunday afternoon at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D.
The Royals won in straight sets while its top three singles players only dropped one game.
Maggie Riermann and
Mackenzie Novak each improved to a team-best 5-1 in singles play.
In doubles play Grace and
Maggie Riermann improve to 5-1 edging out the Cobbers top duo. No. 2 and No. 3 singles each won by scores of 8-1.
Up next the Royals will face a strong non-conference opponent in Wisconsin-Whitewater. The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 28 at the Eau Claire YMCA beginning at 2 p.m.
