NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Bethel University men's soccer team saw limited opportunities in its 2-0 loss on the road at Carleton Saturday afternoon.
Bethel was limited to one shot on goal while on the other end Colin Hubert picked up three saves.
Carleton tallied the matches' first goal in the 22nd minute scoring on a rebound shot. A shot from Carleton never made it all the way through before being deflected right back to a Knight who fired it upon the first touch.
Going without a shot in the first half, the Royals came out firing with three looks in the first 10 minutes. BU's last opportunity came on a shot from
Isaac Howell shot in the 67th minute from 25 yards out just wide of the post.
The Knights sealed the deal scoring in the 88th minute.
Bethel looks to rebound Wednesday at Ona Orth hosting Saint John's at 4 p.m.
