Allie Fauth were named to the 2020 Academic All-District squad in their respective sports, as announced and selected by the College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The 2020 Academic All-District Softball & Baseball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Due to a shortened spring season, honorees were voted on based on their career statistics along with academic achievements. Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot.
Marsh, an education (social studies, grades 5-12) major and history minor, is Bethel baseball's career saves leader with 20 and single-season save holder with nine. He made 58 appearances, 51 out of the bullpen, with a 9-9 all-time record and a 3.31 ERA. In 2018 he was named to the All-MIAC team, ABCA Rawlings All-Midwest Region Second Team and D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team. Most recently he was named a semifinalist for the prestigious Wooden Citizenship Cup Award.
An elementary education K-6 major, Fauth has been a consistent threat in the Royals softball lineup. She is boasting a career batting average of .438, driving in 48 runs with 23 extra base hits. The Hutchinson, Minn. native has an on-base percentage of .484 and is a perfect 33-for-33 in stolen bases while holding the fourth most stolen bases in a season at 17. She is a two-time All-Conference honoree, two-time NFCA All-Region Second Team member and Academic All-MIAC honoree.
