The Bethel University men's tennis team had had a great outing Saturday afternoon taking down conference opponent St. Olaf 8-1.
Doubles
BU was able to get off to a great start sweeping its double matches.
Erik Beckers and
Jason Reilly took the No. 1 doubles spot 8-4.
Zach Kantor and
Joey Mueller held down the No. 2 doubles spot falling right in line with an 8-4 victory.
Tyler Creelman and
Jacob Lukkarila continued Bethel's winning ways dominating their match taking it 8-1 at the No. 3 doubles spot
Singles
The Royals were able to carry their momentum into the singles matches taking five from the Oles. The No. 1 singles spot was held down nicely by senior
Zach Kantor who won his match 6-3, 6-1.
Sophomore
Erik Beckers was able to run the table and take a clean sweep at the No. 2 singles spot winning 6-0, 6-0. There was some drama at the No. 4 singles spot where
Tyler Creelman had to go to three sets and eventually was able to take the nail biter 6-3, 7-5, 10-8.

The Royals will look to carry their momentum into their next weekend taking on Hastings College next Friday at Baseline Tennis Center starting at 7:30 p.m.
