RIVER FALLS, Wis. – Despite a multi goal night from freshman forward
Jarrett Cammarata, the Bethel University men's hockey team dropped its final non-conference game of the year at Wisconsin-River Falls 6-3.
The Falcons bested the Royals in the third period with four goals dropping BU to 3-10-2 on the year. Bethel looks to rebound next week returning to MIAC play with a home-and-home series against Augsburg. Friday night's series opener comes inside Bethel University Arena at 7 p.m.
UW-River Falls struck first scoring on the power play after killing BU's first power play opportunity of the game. Bethel only got one shot on its second power play of the period going into the first intermission trailing 1-0.

Ridge Gerads picked up 19 saves in the opening period before finishing the night with 40.
Cammarata tied things up 5:40 into the second with
Josiah Roen picking up his second assist of the year. Roen has now tallied a point in five of the last six games. It was an active final five minutes, UWRF took back the lead only for
Jory McWilliams to tie it back up with his first goal of season.
All knotted at two, UWRF took back the lead 2:35 into the third. To the rescue came Cammarata with his second of the night.
Tyler Mros picked up an assist keeping the puck in the Falcons zone before passing it to Giorgio who captured his third assist of the weekend and team-leading eighth of the year.
The Falcons went on to score three unanswered in the final 7:50 for the victory.
