ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's soccer team returned to action just 24 hours after putting up eight goals on Bethany Lutheran with another lopsided victory of 4-0 over Northland College. Bethel fired off 28 shots (18 on goal) to just one from the visiting LumberJills. In the two recent contests combined Bethel has scored twelve goals to none while outshooting their opponents 66-4.
After assisting on three goals Thursday afternoon, senior transfer
Britney Monteon decided to get in on the scoring action with the Royals first goal of the game in the 17th minute.
Rachel Waterman then picked up where she left off the day before by scoring her third goal of the week to make it 2-0 heading into the half.
Brooke Ogne and
Lauren Davis scored their second goal each in as many games in the second half for the 4-0 final. Sydeny Wight assisted both Ogne and Davis on their goals.
Next up for the 3-1 Royals is a trip across the St. Croix River for a Tuesday night matchup with the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The Royals and Blue Devils will kick off in Menomonie, Wisconsin at 7 p.m.
