The Bethel University men's soccer team got back in the win column Thursday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over Bethany Lutheran College. The Royals, playing their second game in less than 19 hours after traveling to UW-Superior for a Wednesday night contest, used an own goal to take the victory over the Vikings. The game featured six yellow cards and 14 fouls, with Bethel outshooting Bethany Lutheran 12-8.
The win improves the Royals to 2-2 on the season as Bethel will now have just one day off before being back in action Saturday afternoon. The Royals will welcome Cornell College for a matinee beginning at 3 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex.
