ROCK ISLAND, Ill.—Bethel University's women's track and field team enjoyed the opportunity to participate in a warmer climate this weekend, as they traveled to Rock Island, Ill., to compete in the Viking Invitational. The Royals posted a number of Top 10 finishes throughout the meet and one Top 10 time nationwide.
Â
Having a solid performance was BU's All-American 4x400-meter team of
Hannah Sankey,
Delia Labatt,
Erin Alpers, and
AddieKay Johnson, who crossed the finish line in 3:54.74. That time, which ranks No. 9 nationwide, was good enough for first place Friday night.
