Biography
About Erin:
As Erin enters her junior year the biology major hopes to repeat as the indoor MIAC Champion in the 800m with a time of 2:16.00. Erin hopes to continue to move up on Bethel's top ten list and break some school records.
Erin returns this year for her sophomore season after a successful freshman campaign in 2015. Indoor, Erin quickly solidified herself as one of Bethel's top middle distance runners at the Indoor Conference Meet, where she placed 4th in the 600. Her time of 1:38.47 was also good enough for 3rd All-Time at Bethel. At the Drake Relays in April, Erin ran on the 4x8 and Distance Medley Relay teams for Bethel, both of which broke school records. At the Outdoor Conference Meet Erin exploded in the 800, dropping nearly 8 seconds off of her Indoor PR. She was 7th in the MIAC and her time of 2:15.12 is now 4th All-Time at Bethel. Erin later helped Bethel's 4x4 team to a 7th place Conference finish with another Top Ten time. Erin hopes to continue that success this season. The Souix Falls native is the daughter of Mark and Josie.Â
